Santa Maria - 27 October - AIESEC, an international platform that enables personal and professional development of young students through team work programs, leadership and exchange in partnership with the United Nations in Cape Verde will promote this Friday 28 the Youth Speak Forum Cape Verde.
This event is taking place at Cape Vere University in Praia, under the motto “Make your voice heard, and bring your ideas into action”, and focuses on three topics: Volunteering, Sustainable Development and Entrepreneurship.
President of AIESEC Cape Verde, Bruno Silva, stated that the Youth Forum Speak arises from the platform need to create an initiative where we can understand the young people’s vision towards their future, their country and the world.
According to Silva cooperation with the United Nations the concept Youth Speak has created an international initiative of four phases, where a questionnaire was made and globally collected over hundred and sixty thousand young people responses from 128 countries where AIESEC is present.
Regarding Sustainable Development Goals the forum wants to discuss how young people can contribute to the success of these objectives by 2030 in Cape Verde, and in relation to the Entrepreneurship the intention is to assess the current state of Cape Verde, the main agents and organizations in this field and map which may be the way of young people to enhance.
